Hoppin’ Frog Returning in 2025

Akron City Football Club (ACFC) is pleased to announce that we have extended our partnership with Hoppin’ Frog Brewery for the 2025 season. In addition to producing ACFC’s “Kickin’ Blackberry Turbo Shandy” they’re also offering a new ACFC Branded Pilsner. Both of which will be served at all of ACFC’s home games. If you can’t make it out to Green Street Stadium the Kickin’ Blackberry Turbo Shandy is produced in 16oz cans and will be availiable for purchase at select retail locations. Hoppin Frog is hosting a launch party for the new pilsner on May 3rd from 7-9 pm, at their tasting room.

Hoppin’ Frog (1680 East Waterloo Rd., Akron, Ohio 44306) is a craft brewery based in Akron, Ohio, known for producing bold, flavorful beers in some of the most taste-forward styles. Since opening in 2006, the brewery has built a global reputation for quality, thanks to its meticulous attention to detail—from carefully chosen ingredients to precise brewing methods. The brewery is the vision of owner and brewmaster Fred Karm, a seasoned brewer since 1994. With 26 award-winning beers to his name at the Great American Beer Festival and World Beer Cup—two of the most prestigious competitions in the industry—Karm has firmly established his place among the elite in craft brewing.

Akron City FC is a new member of United Soccer League (USL) League Two, a pre-professional league in North America. ACFC will kick off it’s fourth season on May 17th vs Steel City FC.
