Akron City FC Renews Partnership with Uncle Tito's Mexican Grill

Akron City FC is excited to announce the renewal of our partnership with Uncle Tito’s Mexican Grill. Uncle Tito’s has served as a host for ACFC’s Season Ticket Holder Kickoff Dinner as well as catering post-game meals for the club since 2022.

Fernando Leon, born in Mexico and raised locally here in Springfield Township, home to Uncle Tito's flagship location, embodies the spirit of Akron City FC's commitment to local engagement. As the owner of Uncle Tito's, Fernando brings his passion for soccer and community to the forefront by supporting Akron's local minor league soccer team.

“Uncle Tito’s has been a long-standing partnership and we're thrilled to have them join us as we take the next step to USL2,” said ACFC owner Nick Turchan.

This season promises to be Akron City’s best yet with the club being promoted to United Soccer League (USL) 2, meaning bigger crowds, bigger games, and even bigger appetites for success.

Uncle Tito’s has three locations in Springfield Township (2215 E. Waterloo Rd., Akron, Ohio 44312), Mogadore (16 S. Cleveland Ave., Mogadore, Ohio 44260), and Atwater (1312 OH-183, Atwater, Ohio 44201) and can be visited online at www.uncletitosmexicangrill.com.  You can also follow Uncle Tito’s on social media: Instagram and Facebook: @uncletitosmexicangrill

Season and single-game tickets for Akron City FC are still available via our website  www.akroncityfc.com.  ACFC’s season kicks off this Saturday, May 17th, at 7 pm and all home games are played at Green Street Stadium on the St. Vincent-St. Mary High School campus.
